A: Giving and accepting gifts on birthday occasions is an impermissible practice. This is because festivals which are made for birthdays are Haram (prohibited), and whatever practice is based on something Haram is also Haram.May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
