Are those employed to collect and distribute Zakah (obligatory charity) entitled to receive a share of it?
If yes, what is the proportion they are to receive?
A:
If such people are employed by the ruler or the authorities, it is permissible for them to receive whatever proportion is given to them from Zakah even if they are rich.
