Fasting for three successive days as Kaffarah for an oath

Q 2: Does expiatory Sawm (Fast) for breaking an oath have to be on three successive days? What if I do not observe Sawm successively for an excuse, such as illness, or without an excuse?


A: It is better to observe expiatory Sawm for breaking an oath successively. However, there is nothing wrong if the succession is interrupted.May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family and Companions.
