Q 7:
What is the ruling on many youth who do not observe Jumu`ah (Friday Prayer) and pray Zuhr (four rak`ahs) instead, for the conditions of Jumu`ah obligation - they think - are not met, as there is no Muslim Caliph?
A:
They are wrong. According to Ahl-ul-Sunnah wal-Jama`ah (adherents to the Sunnah and the Muslim mainstream), the existence or the permission of the Caliph is not a condition for Jumu`ah Prayer.May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
