Paying money to avoid the injustices of an oppressor

A: There is nothing wrong with paying money to ward off the evil of these criminals (Part No. 23; Page No. 573) who want to kill Muslim youth unless they pay them money, if that's the only way to be protected from them. On the other hand, this money is unlawful, as they are taking it without any right.May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
