It is impermissible to recite
Surah (Qur'anic chapter) Al-Fatihah on behalf of the Prophet or at his grave (peace be upon him). This applies to all other people i.e. it is impermissible to recite Al-Fatihah on behalf of a person or at their grave. Such practices are considered Bid`ah (innovation in religion) that you have to abandon.May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
