Vowing to slaughter and doubting the number

A: You have to fulfill the vow you made to show gratitude to Allah (Exalted be He) who helped you to stop this Munkar (that which is unacceptable or disapproved of by Islamic law and Muslims of sound intellect). As for your doubt in regard to the number, you have to slaughter the number of animals that you think the most likely to be correct.May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
