Were the heavens and earth created for the Prophet's sake?

Q 3: Can we say that Allah created the heavens and the earth only to create the Prophet (peace be upon him)? What is the meaning of "If not for you, if not for you, He wouldn't have created the orbits"? Is this saying a Hadith? If it is, is it authentic or not? Please tell us.

A: The heavens and the earth were not created for the sake of the Prophet (peace be upon him) but were created for the reasons which Allah mentioned in the following Ayah (Qur'anic verse): It is Allâh Who has created seven heavens and of the earth the like thereof (i.e. seven). His Command descends between them (heavens and earth), that you may know that Allâh has power over all things, and that Allâh surrounds all things in (His) Knowledge. As for the Hadith you mentioned, it is a false and baseless Hadith.May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
