If the worshipper offering Salah (Prayer) finds it difficult to remember a specific Ayah, or has actually forgotten it, there is nothing wrong in skipping the forgotten Ayah and reciting the one after it. But it is prescribed that the worshipper should only recite during Salah those Ayahs which they know very well by heart in order to avoid making many mistakes.May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
