Q 9: What is the ruling on preferring some Qur'an reciters to others and recording the Qur'an recitation on tapes and selling them?


A: It is permissible to prefer some Qur'an reciters to others due to their excellent recitation and mastery of its rules. It is also permissible to record the recitation on tapes and sell them.May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
